Montgomery County Weekend

Had a truly amazing Montgomery weekend! Devon was awarded Best of Winners the first day at Hatboro and Hattie was awarded Reserve Winners Bitch on the second day of Hatboro. Both girls placed in competitive classes all 4 days!

Michigan Miniature Schnauzer Club

Great warm up weekend for Montgomery, and a nice entry of 30+ mini's! Devon was Reserve Winners bitch all 3 days, but Hattie had an AMAZING weekend earning both her majors, by going Best Opposite Sex from the classes the last 2 days, on the first day she was award Best Puppy in Specialty at the Monroe Terrier Specialty in a very nice line up and Best Puppy in group on the 3rd day!!

New American Champion Maiha Titanium!!!

Podge completed his American Championship his second weekend with back to back 5 point majors including going BOW at the Miniature Schnauzer Club of Michigan, where he was also awarded Best Bred By Exhibitor in specialty!  So proud that he is my first home bred American Champion!! After only 2 weekends out in Canada, Podge is a new Canadian Champion!! Not only did he finish his championship quickly, but went Select dog at the Rideau Terrier Club Miniature Schnauzer Specialty and in a very competitive Terrier Group took a group placement which skyrocketed him to number 4 Mini in Canada (canuck dogs)!! So proud to be the breeder owner handler of this dog! Below is a ringside candid taken by Shari Robinson last weekend!

Podge made his Canadian debut by winning the group! He also went on to win back to back Best Puppy in Shows! Unfortunately we did not get any photos due to torrential rain, However a special thanks to Judges Martin Doherty and Patricia Lantot for Podges Best Puppy in shows! Gunner finished his Canadian Championship in 2 weekends! Going Best of Winners x 4, Best of Breed x 1, a Group 4th x 1,  8 x Best puppy in group, and points towards his Grand Championship!  Congratulations breeder owner Jessy Belaire!

Maiha Titanium makes his US ring debut

Podge took the ring by storm in W. Springfield, MA. He came home with 9 points and both of his majors.  He got his second major by going winners dog at the Paul Revere Miniature Schnauzer Specialty and also won Best Puppy in Specialty!! He will now take a break from the US show ring so he can play in the classes at Montgomery County, but will be making his Canadian ring debut shortly!

On December 18th  Podge arrived safe and sound, and is growing up fast!  He is our very first puppy under the Maiha kennel name.

Sprite's Top Dog Certificates arrived for 2012!

In 2012, Sprite was # 1 Miniature Schnauzer in All Breed Points and Breed Points. He held this position from start to finish not ever being surpassed.

• He won 93 All Breed BOB
• He won 5 Specialty Show BOB including the Canadian National. 
• From those 98 BOB wins, he placed in the Group 80.21% of time, the highest percentage of any mini in the top 10 for 2012.

Canada's # 1 Miniature Schnauzer #4 Terrier 2012

 

Well Sprite "Ch Minuteman Safety Last" and I have had an amazing year to say the least!!! In Canada we finished #4 Terrier and #1 Mini, with 31 group wins, a National Specialy win and a Regional Specialty win. In the US, in just 6 weekends,... we finished #19 mini breed points(Canine Chronicle) finished our Am Ch in 2 weekends, a Group 3rd, AOM and the Roving National in Fort Worth, BISS win in Michigan and to top it all off AOM at the American National in Montgomery!!!
